Excerpts from the “Read, Then Scream!” contest - including all the screams - and just 8 mins!
Never before in the history of Roanoke, VA have the most piercing screams unleashed from humans been so fervently sought after. We wanted to find the most terrifying, haunting, spine freezing, hair straightening howls of horror ever heard within our city limits. And we had some of the most blood curdling classic fiction paragraphs to stimulate and ensure the success of our search.
It all happened at Roanoke Public Libraries, October 27 2009.
Big thanks to Star City Fame for shooting and editing this video for no charge at all. Check out their site

Ronny Cox and his band taped live at Roanoke Main Library September 24, 2009, performing “Doggone My Soul.”
Ronny came through Roanoke, VA on his acoustic tour and graced us with his awesome talent as musician, singer, and songwriter, also performing old favorites of his from other artists.
